This messenger contains articles covering current issues of foreign philology and methods of teaching foreign languages. On examples from English, German, Ukrainian and their dialects, important issues of semantics and pragmatics of discourse, cognitive linguistics, stylistics and lexicology, translation studies and linguodidactics are viewed. The issue includes reviews of monographs on cognitive and communicative analysis and translation studies.
