КОНВЕРСАЦИОННЫЙ АНАЛИЗ РЕЧЕВОГО АКТА ОДОБРЕНИЯ
Abstract
The article reports on the results of approval speech act conversation analysis in English artistic discourse. Approval is defined as а positive evaluative syncretic speech act, the object of evaluation in which is inanimate objects, ideas and events. In the course ofthe conversation analysis of the factual data it has been established that approval speech act is mainly framed as а responsive or initiative communicative move. Far less often approval performs the follow-up function or becomes а member of а side-sequence.
