APA style in a scientific publication

Abstract

The article addresses the principles of scientific style in accordance with the requirements for content and presentation of the material in the publications included in international citation databases Scopus and Web of Science on the example of the universally recognized American Psychological Association style (APA style). The main similarities and differences of the composition of publications in the field of philology in Ukrainian and foreign periodicals include both the general structure of the publication and the compositional parts of the text in the genre of the scientific article: its title, author’s annotations, introduction, conclusion, a list of literature in Latin. The article summarizes concrete recommendations for the preparation of research articles to be processed by analytical information retrieval systems.
