Linguocultural contrasts and translating transformations
Abstract
On the ground of a model of linguocultural contrasts, which is based on the conception of language inner form of content (sense), the article reconsiders the subject matter of translating transformations. In particular, it is proposed to differentiate superficial transformations (borrowing, omission, addition, transposition, correction, simple substitution) and also deep (complicated) transformations: morphological, syntactic, implicative, analog, definition, transposition, compensation, etc.
