Abstract

The article analyzes  the approaches  to  the  relationship  between politics  and morality. Singled out  three main approaches to solving moral dilemma in politics: value-neutral approach, ethization of politics and compromise approach. Each of the approaches considered by the example of concepts of the prominent thinkers of the twentieth century: Hannah Arendt, Michael Oakeshott, Leo Strauss, Isaiah Berlin, Max Weber, and John Rawls.
