Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • to be an indisputable scientific novelty;
  • to take into account the advanced contemporary publications on the relevant issues and the history of its study;
  • to correspond to the scientific priorities of the journal;
  • to be based on the original texts of the quoted sources;
  • represent innovative and previously unpublished research results.

Author Guidelines

The authors can submit the papers by email editor.accents@karazin.ua 

The publication is free of charge.

By submitting the paper to the Journal, the authors shall confirm their correspondence to all the editorial requirements. If the submitted work is found to be non-compliant with the provisions of these requirements, the editorial board will return the materials to the authors for revision.

Content Arrangement of the Article

  • UDC index: without indentation, alignleft, in capital letters, no bold font.
  • Information about the author(s)*:

surname, name, academic degree, affiliations, department, university or organization and its address including city and country, personal email, ORCD (align right).

  • Copyright:© Nikonenko O., 2019.
  • Title of the article*: in capital letters, bold font, align center
  • Abstract*:

it should contain 1800 signs (200 words) at least;

it should be informative, reflect the content of the article, reveal the stages of the research;

without abbreviations or quotations.

  • Keywords*:

5 at least;

they should correspond to the main content of the article;

separated by comas.

 

* The article submitted in Spanish, Italian French should be accompanied by English translation of:

  • Main text of the article: should contain the following structure elements: the problem statement, the relevance of the research, the goal and tasks of the research, the review of the published papers on this topic, research results.
  • Conclusions
  • Notes (if any):

should be grouped at the end of the paper, in one blank line after the main text.

  • References:

in one blank line after the text;

the title is ‘REFERENCES’  in capital letters, bold font, align center.

 

The reference list in English must comply with АРА (American Psychological Association) citation style.

The sources are listed after the title ‘REFERENCES’  in alphabetical order and not numbered.

The authors are recommended to get acknowledged with APA citation style on the Organization`s website https://apastyle.apa.org/ or to follow the instruction hereby http://www-library.univer.kharkov.ua/pages/bibliography/apa_style.pdf.

If available, it is mandatory to indicate the DOI identifier number of the autoed sources, e.g.:

Brownlie, D. (2007). Toward effective poster presentations. European Journal of Marketing, 41, 12451283. doi: 10.1108/03090560710821161

 

Basic requirements for article text

The article should be submitted in rtf, doc or docx format. Its length should be about 5000 – 10000 words (without tables, images and schemes).

Font: Times New Roman, 14 pt.; 1,15 pt. spacing; paragraph spacing 6 pt.

Fields: symmetrical (2-2-2-2 cm).

A new structure element should start in one black line after the previous text.

The authors are kindly asked

  • not to indent the first line of the paragraph;
  • not to use the underlining;
  • not to use italicizing excessively;
  • not to use the automatic hyphenation.

Be sure that all the web-references has full and correct URL addresses.

In-text references are made in the text after the citation according to APA citation style:

·                   If reference refers to the source text in general, author’s name and publishing year are given in round brackets

(Smith, 2016)

·                   If the list of references includes several works by one author published the same year, they should be differentiated in text with the help of Latin letters after the year

(Smith, 2016a)

·                   If reference refers to a specific citation, author’s name, publishing year and page number are given in round brackets

(Smith, 2016: 15)

·                   If reference refers to several sources, it is separated by a semicolon and given together in round brackets

(Smith, 2016; Edwards, 2015)

·                   If reference has several authors, first author’s name followed by et al., publishing year and, if necessary, page number are given in round brackets after citation

·                   If reference has no author (collections, dictionaries so on), the author`s name should be replaced by the work`s title; if it seems to be too long, or can be replaced by the abbreviation indicated in the note when given for the first time in the text

All footnotes should be grouped in a same block and given at the end of the article before the References.
