Publication Ethics

At all stages of the publication process the journal ‘Accents and Paradoxes of Modern Philology’ strives to meet ethical behaviour high standards set forth in the Ethical Code of The Scientist of Ukraine and in the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

All submitted for publication articles should meet the academic ethics requirements (see http://ori.hhs.gov/avoiding-plagiarism-self-plagiarism-and-other-questionable-writing-practices-guide-ethical-writing), i.e.

  • to be an indisputable scientific novelty;
  • to take into account the advanced contemporary publications on the relevant issues and the history of its study;
  • to correspond to the scientific priorities of the journal;
  • to be based on the original texts of the quoted sources.

Articles should represent innovative and previously unpublished research results.

All manuscripts are evaluated for their scientific quality regardless of author’s race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, nationality or political opinions.
