Aims and Scope
“Cognition, communication, discourse” provides a forum for researchers in cognitive linguistics and discourse studies to discuss a wide range of topics in synchronic, diachronic, and cross-cultural perspectives. We also encourage articles from a vast range of neighboring research areas connected with but not limited to linguistic pragmatics, semantics, sociolinguistics, multi-disciplinary communication studies, psychology, media studies, translation, and language teaching.
Our aim is to publish innovative content, which contributes to theories of language as an instrument for construing meaning and of discourse as a form of social practice drawing attested data from a wide range of languages and cultures of the world. This helps ensure Quality Education and the Global Partnership for Sustainable Development.
The journal is aimed at linguists, teachers, graduate and post-graduate students who are doing their researches in Philology and conjoint spheres.
