Retraction and correction policy

The Collection adheres to the COPE Retraction Guidelines.

Retractions may be issued where: the research findings are unreliable owing to data fabrication, falsification, or honest error; the work contains plagiarism; the results were previously published without proper disclosure; or a serious breach of publication ethics has occurred.

Corrections (Errata/Corrigenda) are published when errors are identified that do not affect the overall conclusions of the article. The correction notice clearly identifies the error and the corrected information.

All retractions and corrections are published as separate notices linked to the original article.
