Specialized journal  in pedagogical sciences.

The collection of scientific papers includes articles on the problems of modern theory and practice of education, training and upbringing. The authors of the works publish the results of research activities in the field of pedagogy of cooperation, new pedagogical technologies of socialization and self-realization of a person.

The journal publish scientific works of scientists, graduate students, teachers of higher educational institutions, students and teachers.

“Scientific notes of the pedagogical department” is a professional scientific publication (category "B"), which is a platform for the presentation of advanced research in the field of educational and pedagogical sciences. The journal is published at V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University and combines academic traditions with innovative approaches to learning. The quality of publications and the objectivity of peer review are ensured by a powerful international editorial board, which includes 19 leading scientists: 14 members of the editorial board have the scientific degree of Doctor of Sciences and the academic title of professor. 5 members of the board are Candidates of Sciences and PhDs, which ensures the relevance of applied research. More than 40% of the editorial board consists of foreign experts from 7 countries: the USA, Finland, the Netherlands, France, Spain, Poland, and Slovakia.
The publication “Наукові записки кафедри педагогіки/ Scientific notes of the pedagogical department” in the field of knowledge 01 “Education/ Pedagogy” in specialties 011, 013, 014, 015 has been published since 1996. The editor-in-chief of the publication is Nataliia Viktorivna Morze, a corresponding member of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, professor.
The publication “Наукові записки кафедри педагогіки/ Scientific notes of the pedagogical department” publishes research that meets the global challenges of the era of artificial intelligence and new social reality. Key thematic vectors (based on the materials of recent issues): integration of artificial intelligence into the educational process, evolution of IT competencies and development of a digital educational environment; learning strategies in crisis conditions, formation of stress resistance of participants in the educational process and psychological and pedagogical support in wartime; transformation of the functions of a modern teacher, adaptive systems of advanced training and international trends in professional training; overcoming gender stereotypes in education, organization of blended learning for students with special educational needs; theoretical foundations of cognitive load management and implementation of innovative methods (EMI-approach, participatory practices).
The journal is a space for intellectual interaction of innovative scientists, managers in the field of education, practicing teachers and young researchers who strive to change the educational paradigm.  The journal uses double-blind peer review. Reviewers evaluate the articles with regard to the originality of the results, the adequacy of the methods, and the relevance of the analysis to the conclusions, and decide on the adoption of the article unchanged, after removing the comments or rejecting them. In 2018, the editorial board began using StrikePlagiarism.com to review the texts submitted by manuscripts for malpractice (plagiarism) shortly before peer review.
