BRICS – historical overview

Abstract

The article studies BRICS countries from the historical point of view, determines similarities, differences and relationships; considers  the periods  of BRICS - the middle ages and modern history. According to these data the author identifies general patterns, relationships, and differences between the BRICS countries. The basis for the analysis is the BRICS integration association. Its members are Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa, The five countries have different political, economic and ideological views, and also they are very different in the ethnic aspect.
