Theoretical approaches to definition of tourism: the essence and role of it today
Abstract
The article considers the main theoretical approaches to the definition of the tourism, its essence and role of the development of the world services trade. The article reveales that the tourism of recent years is characterized by high dynamics, sustainable development and active influence on the economy of the countries having the necessary resources to develop it.
The article analyzes the statistics of tourism development. The article reveals the tendencies of the world tourism regions of the world, namely the distribution of international tourist arrivals, strengthening Europe's position as the most visited in the region, which attracts more than half of international tourists in the world. The author analyses share of the international tourism in the world exports of services, as well as its share in the total volume of goods and services.
The article considers the main theoretical approaches to the definition of the tourism and its definition, namely workers and conceptual (essential). The article reveals that tourism, as a special case of travel, has clear limits, features and many definitions in the conceptual sense.
The article reveals that the tourism is an integral part in favor of the modern human life, that lets use an advanced features of the economic sector for the job creation and infrastructure changes, that makes a significant contribution to the development of the world economy.
