About efficiency of state control over Orthodox Church during 2nd half of 1970s – 1st half of 1980s (based on the examples of Kyiv Pokrovsky monastery)
Abstract
In this article we analyzed the problem of efficiency of state control over orthodox monasteries in Kyiv during 1970s-1980s. Basing on the archival materials, we outlined two cases in Pokrovsky monastery
which exemplify weak sides of the «decreasing church influence within boundaries of law»-policy implementation.
