REFORMING OF LOCAL SELF-GOVERNMENT IN UKRAINE: EXPERTS EVALUATION (PART 3)
Abstract
The article considers successes and achievements of the reformation of the local self-government in Ukraine. It is indicated the main factors hindering the conduct of the Administrative Territorial Reform. The most significant achievements of Poland during the implementation of Administrative Territorial Reform and the possibility of their implementation in Ukraine are investigated. The exploration of negative experience equally gives us a chance to understand which pitfalls Ukraine should avoid on its way to decentralization. The research was conducted on the basis of deep interviews with the leading Polish experts in the field of the local self-government.
