THE CONCEPT OF ASSOCIATION WITH THE EU - EXPERIENCE OF THE PRACTICE OF THE "EARLY" INTEGRATION PERIOD

Abstract

The article is dedicated to the historical analysis of two practical cases, connected with the creation and development of the concept of association in the European Union law. In the context of conclusion of the association agreement between EU and Ukraine and at the example of EU relations with Spain and Greece the author emphasizes the connection between the «European values» and the concept of association. Among the major conclusions separately should be emphasized the role of the European Parliament as the institutions, fulfilling the general overview of the compliance with the «European values» in third countries.
