Abstract

the article analyzes the issues of the influence of modern developed parliamentarism on the formation of constitutionalism on democratic foundations. Arguments are presented regarding the modern development of the state as a social and political institution in the context of the restrictive impact of law. It points to the relationship between a constitution that can legitimately legitimize legal norms, the rule of law, constitutionalism, democracy and parliamentarism. Based on the foregoing, it is summarized that modern parliamentarism is the key to the formation of constitutionalism on democratic foundations, creating the necessary conditions for the progressive development of legal statehood and ensuring the implementation of the rule of law.
