The Journal addresses a broad range of current political and legal issues, including: the formation and development of civil society and the rule of law in Ukraine; the protection of human rights; combating crime and maintaining public order; the improvement of national legislation and law enforcement practice, as well as international law. Intended for legal professionals, policymakers, scholars and practitioners, postgraduate students and undergraduates, as well as all those interested in legal theory and juridical practice.

The aims of this scholarly periodical are to:

  • promote the advancement of legal science in Ukraine and internationally;
  • publish the findings of current research in the fields of domestic, foreign and international law;
  • provide a scholarly platform for the exchange of ideas among academics, practitioners and students;
  • integrate Ukrainian legal scholarship into the international academic community.

The principal objectives are to:

  • address contemporary issues in the theory and practice of national and international law;
  • publish the results of fundamental and applied research across diverse areas of law, as well as its theory and history;
  • foster interdisciplinary research in the field of law;
  • promote the scholarly contributions of Ukrainian and foreign academics;
  • facilitate academic discourse on pressing legal questions;
  • support early-career researchers and higher education students in disseminating the results of their work.
