GENDER EQUALITY AS A LEGAL STANDARD OF BILATERAL COOPERATION BETWEEN UKRAINE AND THE EUROPEAN UNION

Abstract

gender equality as specific legal standard of organization of two-sided co-operation of Ukraine and European Union is examined in the article. On the basis of analysis of provisions of Agreement about an association it is certain between Ukraine and European Union, that the mortgage of effective integration of Ukraine in European political, legal and economic space is introduction in national practice of bases of providing of equality of men and women. Features are expounded of legal construction, regulating the institute of gender equality at the level of two-sided contractual obligations of Ukraine and ЕС. Drawn conclusion that valuable perception and introduction of principles of gender equality at national level will have not only positive socially-humanitarian consequences but also will become the powerful impulse of activation of further economic and trade relations of Ukraine and states of European alliance.
