Їжак з Люксембурга: історія одного зразка як свідоцтво міграцій музейних колекцій між Харковом та Києвом у 1930-х роках
Анотація
Розглянуто історію формування й міграцій природничих колекцій в Україні у першій половині XX ст. на прикладі унікального зразка – їжака з етикеткою «Люксембург» збору 1932 року, написаною на бланку «музею ім. Артема». Розвідка показала, що мова має йти про вид Erinaceus roumanicus, зібраний харківським ботаніком Є. Лавриненком та зоологом Панченком, які працювали по півдню України. Відомості про цей зразок виявлено у одному з давніх (бл. 1935 р.) інвентарних журналів Зоологічного музею ВУАН, що нині входить до складу ННПМ. Повна реконструйована етикеткова інформація – «Запорізька обл., Пологівський р-н, зал. ст. Азов біля с. Люксембург Український, 23.05.1932». Цей пункт знаходиться у 15 км від заповідника «Кам'яні могили», куди, найімовірніше, прямували дослідники. За реконструкцією автора, зразок зібрано на залізничному роз'їзді (ст. Азов, відома як Роз'їзд 376 км), тобто в місці тривалих зупинок потягів в очікуванні розминки зі зустрічним транспортом, що напевно практикували дослідники того часу. Етикетка «музею ім. Артема» має бути ідентифікована як належна харківському музею імені Артема (однойменні музеї були у Бахмуті й лише з 1950 р. у Луганську). Аналіз переміщень науковців, основні з яких відбулися у 1934–1936 рр. у зв’язку з перенесенням столиці України з Харкова до Києва та реорганізацією низки установ, свідчить, що цей та багато інших колекційних зразків були перевезені до академічних установ Києва. Колектори цього зразка є також авторами зразків ссавців із Херсонщини (1928) та Харківщини (1932, 1934); 1934 р. Лавренко переїхав до Києва, проте тут він відомий виключно як ботанік. Аналіз давніх журналів обліку колекцій ННПМ та історії переміщень зоологів-колекціонерів свідчить, що зразок разом із сотнями інших був частиною робочої колекції О. Мигуліна і перевезений ним з Харкова до Києва при його оформленні на роботу в Заготхутрі у Заворичах та прикріпленні як докторанта до Зоологічного музею ВУАН. Надалі цей зразок, як і сотні інших, був переданий до остеологічної колекції відділу палеозоології Зообіну (з 1939 р. з нього сформувався Інститут зоології), і врешті опинився у відділі палеонтології ННПМ. За 90 років вимушених «міграцій» зразок змінив принаймні 4 місця зберігання і щонайменше 6 номінальних установ (дві в Харкові і 4 в Києві).
