Abstract

The article deals with the semantic specific character of lexical and phraseological units which designate intellectual characteristics of a human being in English, Czech, Ukrainian and Russian languages. The main task of this article is analysis and systematization of the semantic structure of onomasiological paradigm “human being on the basis of its intellect” and its semantic and grammatical special features. Suggested approach removes a whole number of questions during semantic analysis and allows conducting full-scale description of any conceptual fragment in any language.
