Abstract

The gravitropic reaction of 2-days cress roots in static magnetic field was investigated. The control roots were located in satic magnetic field with the magnetic induction 20 nT (the remained magnetic field of μ metal shield was used as control). The experimental samples were located in the static magnetic field created artificially in μ-metal magnetic shield. The static magnetic field changed from 20 nT up to 100 μT. The threshold for gravitropic reaction appearance was found. It was equal approximately to 2-4 μT.
