Nonlinear length change of soleus muscle of rat under the efferent stimulation

Abstract

Experimental study of contraction process of the soleus muscle of rat under the changes of efferent stimulation frequency and external load is carried out. The revealed nonlinearity in the different contraction phases shows the asymmetry in operation of the contraction apparatus, which is a result of the presence of history of motion.
