Type of Licensing for the Use of Copyright Objects
Authors submitting materials for publication to "Theory and Practice of Public Administration" agree to the following provisions:
- Authors retain copyright to their publications and grant the Journal the right of first publication.
- Submission of a manuscript and its acceptance for publication imply that the authors grant the Journal a non-exclusive license to publish, distribute, and archive the material in both print and electronic formats, as well as to include it in international abstracting and indexing databases.
Authors may:
- deposit the published version of the work in institutional or disciplinary repositories;
- distribute it via personal or professional webpages;
- use the material for educational or research purposes;
provided that full bibliographic reference to the publication in the Journal is provided.
Authors’ Responsibilities:
- Authors guarantee that the submitted work is original and does not infringe upon the copyright or intellectual property rights of third parties.
- Authors confirm that the work has not been previously published and is not under consideration by another Journal.
- If the publication includes materials (e.g., figures, tables, data) owned by third parties, authors are responsible for obtaining the necessary permissions and properly acknowledging the sources.
Publisher’s Responsibilities:
- The Journal ensures a transparent and ethical publication process, as well as open access to all materials in accordance with the Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY).
- The Journal guarantees long-term digital preservation of content through archiving in internal and external repositories.
