MANAGEMENT OF TRANSPORT INFRASTRUCTURE DEVELOPMENT IN THE CONTEXT OF THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE GLOBAL SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS BY 2030
Abstract
The article examines the management of transport infrastructure development in the context of the implementation of the Global Sustainable Development Goals by 2030 in the modern transport sector as one of the most important elements in the economic system of Ukraine. The essence of the concept of sustainable development as a complex multilevel and multicomponent system of measures capable of ensuring the effective functioning and development of the country is revealed. her. It is established that the concept of sustainable development is based on the relationship and balance of economic, social, environmental, institutional and innovation-technological components, which allows to maximize human well-being without complicating the ability to meet their needs for future generations. With the adoption of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, the concept of sustainable development in addition to the main traditional components (social integration, economic growth and environmental protection) was supplemented by two important components: partnership and peace. Sustainability has been found to be achieved and concentrated at the center of these five interrelated components. Problems affecting the development of transport infrastructure are analyzed. The priority Global Sustainable Development Goals until 2030, which directly relate to transport infrastructure, are described, taking into account current trends in sustainable development of the transport sector of Ukraine. The concept of transport infrastructure as an important part of the state transport system is described and the efficiency of transport infrastructure development is assessed in accordance with international approaches. It is established that the country should provide the entire population with the opportunity to use a safe, inexpensive, affordable and environmentally sustainable transport system, should also modernize public transport rolling stock and implement energy efficient and environmentally friendly public transport systems in cities. The necessity of development of transport infrastructure of Ukraine in order to implement the Strategy of sustainable development, to improve the quality of transport services and transport infrastructure in the XXI century is substantiated.
