POETRY AND ANTHROPOLOGY OF WAR: THE TEMPORAL ASPECT (PERCEPTION OF TIME IN THE POETIC EXPERIENCE OF CLEMENTE REBORA)
Abstract
The purpose of this research is to analyse the «war anthropology» through the analysis of Clemente Rebora works. It shows that the experience of war is closely linked to the perception of time. The time, for the war-man, is an anonymous time, without a subject, a nobody time. The absence of humanity, the depersonalization effected by the logic of war, creates a worldview in which time is cyclical, an eternal present that is repeated without the temporal dimension of the past and the future. To overcome this situation, man must find himself and discover the Other. The Rebora poetry testify this process.
