THE CONCEPT OF «POST-SECULAR SOCIETY» AND ESTABLISHMENT OF THE NEED FOR DIALOGUE

Abstract
The article considers the transformation of tolerance in post-secular society that is characterized by the release of religious opinions in the public sphere. The author, based on the position of J. Habermas and J. Ratzinger, proposes to establish a dialogue and mutual learning of religious and non-religious citizens as the main feature inherent in post-secular society. Formation of post secular society does not mean a return to religion as the dominant value system or priority of the outlook. Paper proposes a new type of communication – «twoway learning process», in which secular society enriched by religious values. Establishment of mutual recognition and respect, building consensus on important issues for religious and secular citizens possible according to the author, in the form of dialogue.Downloads
