Abstract

The article considers the role of intuition in the process of scientific cognition. Intuition as synthetic notion of the object of cognition which appears as a result of its immediate perception requires justification through analytical scientific methods. Integrative psycholinguistic model of intuitive processes in the activity structure includes 12 units and devices which can work consecutively or overlap in time. Using this model in analysis of classification processes in terms of the classification theory involves combination of logics and intuition based on understanding logics as analysis, and intuition – as primary synthesis. Classification objects are identified intuitively based on their attributes, which are pointed out and picked through analytical methods, as well as the classification system is built. This model can be applied in translation training through developing translation model structures that introduce the theory of inventive problem solving and formalization method.
