Migration Of Heavy Metals In Water Bodies (Example On The Udy River)

Abstract
The features of the distribution of heavy metals in various components of aquatic ecosystem of the Uda river were investigated. It was found that Unio pictorum (Philipsson., 1788) and Anadonta cygnea (Lamarck, 1799) molluscs accumulated mainly zinc and copper. The accumulation coefficients of heavy metals by molluscs in relation to water and bottom sediments were estimated.
