Environmental taxes do not solve environmental problems

Abstract
The article describes the experience of introducing environmental taxes in the world, analyzes the reasons for their virtuality and low practical role in improving the global environmental situation. The author reveals the discrepancy between environmental taxes and the goals and objectives of anti-carbon policy.
