Literary Works of the Ukrainian Teacher and Writer Kornil Zaklinsky (1889–1966).

Abstract

The report is devoted to the analysis of literary work "An Unpublished Poem by Peter Hulak-Artemovsky" (1957), which is part of the creative work of a Ukrainian teacher, poet, folklorist, literary critic, translator Kornil Zaklinsky. Cornelius Zaklinsky (1889–1966)  studied classical philology at the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Vienna, later - Ukrainian philology at the Lviv and Chernivtsi universities. After 1921, Zaklinsky was in exile, where he became active activist of the regional "Enlightenment". Among the creative work of Zaklinsky there are many articles devoted to Ukrainian writers. In the article "The Unpublished Still Poem by Petro Hulak-Artemovsky" the author presents an analysis and commentary on the verse of the famous poet dedicated to the Kharkov official Oleksiy Kurdyumov.
