Abstract

This work is devoted to the study of the influence of quercetin on dielectric properties of insulin-resistant rat blood components provided deficiency of estrogens. Estrogens deficiency was initiated by two-sided ovariectomy at the light ether narcosis. For the investigation were chosen blood plasma and serum of intact and pathology rats of the Wister population. Dielectric properties of models under consideration were measured by the VHF-electrometry method at the frequency of 9.2 GHz. The values of the real part ε' of the complex permittivity of the blood plasma and serum of intact and ovariectomy rats with different diets were obtained. It was shown the decrease of the ε' for the blood serum of the ovariectomy rats is caused by accumulation in its products of oxidation. The differences in the real part of the complex permittivity of serum and plasma undiluted and diluted by the physiological solution were calculated. The decrease in the difference between permittivity of diluted and undiluted plasma with deficiency of estrogens compared to control was revealed.
