Some features of dynamics of atmospheric aerosol in the nasal cavity
Abstract
The simplified model of the nasal cavity is constructed, for which the processes of change of concentration atmospheric aerosol in due course are considered. The equation of dispersion atmospheric aerosol in the nasal cavity with the account gradient coagulation is received. It was shown, that in addition to a mechanical filtration of rough dispersed particles, which is carried out nostril hairs, there is specific aerodynamical filtration of finely dispersed particles of atmospheric aerosol - "auto filtration". It is a dusty filtration, caused by the passage of the air through the filter, which grains are the small drops of water. Gradient coagulation is appreciably shown at sizes of a gradient of axial speed ∂uz/∂r exceeding 102s-1, which results in an increase of the sedimentation intensity of particles of the atmospheric aerosol on walls of a nasal cavity, and thus and to increase of "auto filtration" of particles of impurity.
