Investigation of binding of antibiotic norfloxacin with DNA in the presence of aromatic biologically-active compounds
Abstract
A process of competitive binding of antibiotic Norfloxacin with DNA in the presence of antitumor antibiotics Daunomycin, Nogalamycin, Novantrone, and Actinomycin D, Caffeine and aromatic vitamins Flavin-Mononucleotide (vitamin B2) and Nicotinamide (vitamin PP) has been investigated. For all combinations considered an interrelation of effectivity of protector and interceptor mechanisms is calculated, and an estimation of the relative change of biological effect is given.
