Factors of impact of globalization and informatization on the state of modern democracy

Abstract

Problems of functioning and development of democracy in modern society, its dependence on the processes of globalization and informatization of the modern world are discussed in the article. The influence of informatization on the resolution of the problem of social inequality, political absenteeism, information power and civil society are analyzed. Features of functioning of democratic state structures of a society in new conditions of the globalized world are investigated.
