ABOUT CONDITIONS OF EXISTENCE OF SECOND SOUND WAVES IN ISOTOPICALLY ENRICHED CRYSTALS 7LiF
Abstract
Concerted parameters of the single crystal LiF (temperature, concentration of isotopes and sample sizes) were found in a reduced isotropic crystal model and in the Callaway model of thermal conductivity. They define the region of existence of second sound waves. These areas do not significantly differ from each other, which ensures the accuracy of the results. It was found, that the concentration of the isotope 6Li less than 3× 10-5 cm-3 and the sample sizes greater than 0,8 cm, offers the possibility of the second sound waves propagation in lithium fluoride in the temperature range of thermal conductivity maximum. The other concerted parameters, that define the "window" of existence of second sound waves, for lower concentrations of isotopes can be determined from three-dimensional graphs.
