Relativistic Configuration-Interaction Photoionization Data for Ne-Like Isoelectronic Sequence
Abstract
Photoionization data for the 1s2 2s2 2p6 (1S0) ground state of neon like Ca10+, Sc11+, Ti12+, V13+, and Cr14+ ions are reported. The values of ionization threshold limits, resonance energies, quantum defects, transition rates, and oscillator strengths for various Rydberg series are tabulated. The Relativistic configuration-interaction (RCI) approach, implemented in the Flexible Atomic Code (FAC), was employed to perform all calculations. The RCI results for 2s 2p6 (2S1/2) np resonance series show very good agreement with reported values in the literature. In addition, new calculations on K-shell photoexcitations (1s 2s2 2p6 (2S1/2) np) in these ions are reported. These results would be valuable for high-precision spectral modeling in astrophysical or laboratory plasmas.
