National and cultural component of Ukrainian folk tale onym space

Abstract

The article examines the ethno cultural specifics of nomination of onyms from a Ukrainian folk fairytale through finding the national and cultural component. Linguist and cultural analysis of place names, people names, flower names, animal names regarding specific suffixes, national versions of the names, denotations characteristics and so on has been done. Connotative components of onyms in the folk poetic text have been considered, the ethno cultural sources of connotation in its projection in the internal forms of separate onym units have been defined. The process of formation of nomination of the onyms, determined by ethno cultural factors, has been traced.
