GEOECOLOGICAL THE THREAT SPREADING OF HERACLEUM SOSNOWSKYI ON THE TERRITORY IN TURKIVSKYI DISTRICT OF LVIV REGION
Abstract
The problem of Heracleum Sosnowskyi spreading, which is an invasive species and creates huge threats for natural geosystems, people and economy at all, was reviewed in this article. The history of introduced weed in Ukraine and his morphological features were described. The features of Heracleum Sosnowskyi spreading were found in Turkivskyi district of Lviv region – a typical low Ukrainian Carpathians territory. By analyzing sets of stock materials and field researches, the main areas of invasive species spreading were found. They are riverbeds, uncultivated agriculture fields, narrow strip along the roads and abandoned territories. The geoecological threats, caused by uncontrolled spreading of the danger species, were formulated. The most effective and safe methods of weed management were identified, including regional physical geography features.
