About the Journal

The publication "Man and Environment. Issues of Neoecology" publishes original scientific articles that highlight modern ecological and geoecological research, the results of interdisciplinary scientific work, as well as new approaches to the analysis, assessment and management of the state of the natural environment.

The journal focuses on the study of interactions between society and the natural environment, the assessment of anthropogenic impacts on natural systems, and the development of scientifically grounded approaches to environmental protection and sustainable natural resource management within the neo-ecological paradigm.

The journal publishes original research articles presenting the results of interdisciplinary environmental studies, innovative methodological approaches, and new insights into the analysis, assessment, and management of environmental systems.

Main Objectives of the Journal

to publish original results of fundamental and applied research in ecology and Earth sciences;
to highlight current environmental challenges at local, regional, and global scales;
to promote interdisciplinary research in geoecology, environmental management, and nature conservation;
to disseminate modern research methods for studying natural and natural-anthropogenic systems, including spatial analysis, remote sensing, and geoinformation modelling;
to facilitate scientific communication among researchers, educators, doctoral students, and professionals in the fields of ecology and Earth sciences.

Geography and Geoecology (Physical geography, landscapes, urbanized areas, geoecological research, spatial organization of natural resource use).
Earth Sciences and Natural Processes (Geology, geomorphology, soils, water resources, atmosphere, climate, natural hazards, and environmental changes).
Environmental Monitoring, Geoinformation Technologies, and Modeling (Environmental and geographical monitoring, GIS, remote sensing, cartography, spatial analysis, and mathematical modeling).
