Соціологія після постмодерну або «віртуальна раціональність» метамодерну як перспектива розвитку соціології
Анотація
Українські соціологи вже давно б’ють на сполох через зниження інтересу до соціології та катастрофічне падіння конкурсу до вітчизняних вищих навчальних закладів на відповідну спеціальність. Автор аналізує дані різних за обсягом і місцем проведення досліджень і показує, що ситуація навколо соціології характерна не лише для України, а і світу в цілому. Акцент на аналізі об’єктивних причин занепаду соціології дозволяє зробити висновок, що ці причини тісно пов’язані з переходом модерн–постмодерн–метамодерн і символізують картину тих труднощів, з якими зіткнулася сучасна наука на цьому непростому шляху перетворень. Подальші міркування в рамках теорій модернізації та постмодернізації суспільства приводять автора до висновку, що на зміну модерну як епохи «царювання» науки та раціонального світорозуміння прийшло постмодерне заперечення та деконструкція метанаративів, наголос на ірраціональності, множинності; епістемологічний та онтологічний плюралізм, коли раціональності можуть змінюватися та доповнюватися одна одною. Метамодерн намагається примирити суперечливі раціональності попередніх «модернів», привносячи науковий інтелект у простір культури та водночас пропонуючи нову раціональність, умовно позначену автором як «віртуальну», яка здатна поєднувати «жорстку» раціональність фізичного простору з множинною і навіть нереальною раціональністю простору віртуального. Але як така віртуальна раціональність може бути пов’язана з соціологічною наукою і практикою, з необхідністю прогнозування соціальних процесів? Тут автор виділяє декілька серйозних протиріч, розглядає можливості просування соціології, що тісно пов’язані з метамодерною ідеологією і можуть бути приводом для дискусії з колегами, які займаються дослідницькою, викладацькою діяльністю та стурбовані проблемами просування соціології в сучасному метамодерному світі.
