Due to the fact, that we currently are in an acute and uncertain situation, which is related not only to domestic political, economic and social problems, but also to foreign policy, such as aggression of the Russian Federation and the unstable situation in the world as a whole, the subject of the study is selected to be the value dominant «LIFE» and its derivatives «LIVE», «SURVIVE», «LIFE ACTIVITY» and its antonymous anti-value «DEATH» and its derivatives «DIE», «KILLED». The aim of the article is to determine the use of the value dominant in the strong positions of the text, as well as the context in which it is used. The research tool is a computer program for text analysis MAXQDA. Based on quantitative, qualitative and cluster analysis, it was found that the value dominant «LIFE» in the media texts of this period is generally immersed in a negative context and is often used along with anti-values.
