ESTABLISHMENT AND POLITICAL DEVELOPMENT OF THE FIRST REPUBLIC IN CZECHOSLOVAKIA

Abstract

In the article issues of national and evolution of the democratic institutes in the first Czechoslovakia republic (CSR) were analyzed in the retrospective context of the positive experience of the 20th century. Peculiarities of the political development of Czechoslovakia republic and after the World War 2 Czechoslovakia Socialist Republic (CSSR) and nowadays Czech Republic (CR) are rare case in modern history. This is an example of complete cycle of creation, development through all the stages typical for Europe – ethnic and national, political and economic problems, invasion, collapse and renovation, social changes, civilization crisis and reaching of the logical end. And all these things happened in the 20th century. Czechoslovakia republic always followed the European way of development – it appeared definitely marked on the political map of the Eastern Europe after the World War 1 and ceased to exist as a result of collapse of the Eastern block and communism at the end of 1980s. That’s why political process in the 20th century was very important for the obtainment of national identity. Its events and consequences promoted the appearance of the independent Czech state.
