Defining advocacy as a subject for research in political science
Abstract
The author analyses Advocacy in the context of theories and definitions in Political Science. Survey conducted by the author, illustrates differences in understanding of advocacy in expert circles that signifies relevance of further research. Definition of advocacy is provided through analysis of its characteristics – massive participation and focus on changes. Examples of advocacy initiatives at international and national levels are employed in the article towards effective analysis of advocacy and its tactics.Downloads
