Abstract

During psychodiagnostic clinical and psychological examination of the Ukrainian Interior Ministry employees – participants of ATO detected two variants of post-traumatic psychological maladjustment – emotional- affective and psychopathic. The interrelation was outlined between the clinical manifestations of these options, the loci of frustration, social and family environment, bio and life path, the influence of the traumatic event, resilience and ways of psychological protection. Psychopathic version of maladjustment observed voltage and immature psychological defense in comparison to the emotional and affective goals. The resence of high levels of propensity for deviant behavior and dissonant figures for individual methods indicates phenomena of cognitive dissonance in the process of integration of new modes of behavior and response of ATO participants’ re-adaptation to civilian life.
