Abstract

The group of women with miscarriage in medical history has been studied (n=358). Average age is 28,65 ± 5,20 years old. Time window from the last miscarriage to the beginning of study is 18 months. Affective depressive disorders were diagnosed in 25,42% women with miscarriage in medical history (depressive episode, recurrent depressive disorder, dysthimia). Para-suicidal behavior such as nonrandom non-suicidal self-injuries was found in 18,16% women with miscarriage in medical history. In the group of women with miscarriage in medical history and affective disorders, self-injuries without suicidal motivation occurred 4,9 times more often than in women with miscarriage without mental disorders (p<0,01). Established high occurrence of depressive disorders and para-suicidal activity in women with miscarriage in medical history demonstrates the necessity of early diagnostics of affective disorders and auto-aggressive activity in the given population.
