Abstract

Given the powerful psycho-emotional stress of a modern person, the work of a public servant deserves special attention, since the requirements for his work can be viewed as professionally associated stressors that can increase neuro-psychological stress and lead to the development of maladaptive reactions and conditions. We conducted a study on a sample of 159 civil servants, among whom there are 118 women (74.22%) and 41 men (25.78%). The average age of respondents was 42.7 ± 9.19 g. The average length of service in the public service was 16.37 ± 8.25 g. According to a study using the HADS questionnaire, the subclinical level of pathological anxiety was detected in 30 (18.80% ) respondents, clinical level - in 11 (6.90%) patients. Subclinical manifestations of depression were detected in 15 (9.40%) respondents, clinical - in 7 (4.40%).As a result of the work, it was determined that the main psychosocial risk factors for the development of anxiety and / or depressive manifestations of the subclinical level of severity among civil servants are: low level of satisfaction with the state of their own health; frequent care of their own health; low satisfaction with medical care. Among the psychosocial risk factors for the development of clinical manifestations of anxiety and depression among state employees, an increase in age was noted; increase in working experience in the public service; low level of satisfaction with their own health; frequent care of their own health; low satisfaction with medical care. Thus, the trigger factors that “trigger” the processes of inadequate psycho-emotional response to the overtime effect of psychosocial stress are worries about the deterioration of somatic health, increasing age and working experience. Further, the progression of psycho-emotional disorders contributes to an increase in age (due to the depletion of the adaptive resources of the body) and work experience in the civil service (due to the potentiation of the negative effects of occupational stress factors)
