It has been studied the influence of interleukin-6 (IL-6) and C-reactive protein (CRP) on the frequency ofsudden cardiac death in 80 patients after myocardial infarction (MI). The average age of patients was (58±15) years old, they involved 72 men and 8 women. The initial concentration of IL-6 in early afterinfarction periodin patients who had died suddenly during 12-month observation differed significantly from the similar data insurvived - (220±47) pg/ml versus (118±15) pg/ml (p<0,001). The same results was obtained towards CRP - (6,2±1,8) pg/ml in patients with sudden cardiac death (SCD) and (3,0±1,3) pg/ml - in survived (p<0,001). Thereby, we have done conclusions that IL-6 and CRP levels decrease in patients after MI should be high riskof SCD data.
