Theoretical basics of research of the national economy’s international competitiveness

Abstract

The article considers the competition concept content; presents scientific views on the competition definition formation.  The author markes the increasing competition between the countries in the globalization context. The article indicates the underestimating competition role in most of the former Soviet Union countries and, therefore, the urgent need to obtain knowledge to ensure a high level of national economies competitiveness
