Ukraine in the perception of foreign think tanks

Abstract

The paper focuses on the question how the most influential foreign think tanks see Ukraine during the important and turbulent period from the spring 2014 till the autumn 2015. The study is based on the content-analysis of the English versions of the websites of the most influential think tanks which were chosen  according to the rating «Go to Think Tank Index Report» of the University of Pennsylvania. The prevalence and intensity of attention to Ukraine and frames of its perception are analyzed. A special attention is paid to the perception of advice and warnings expressed by the mentioned think tanks towards the Ukraine-EU Association agreement and DCFTA.
