Structure of Na-DNA films received from solutions at various values of humidity and temperature
Keywords:
DNA, film, liquid crystal, humidity, temperatureAbstract
Structures of Na-DNA films received by evaporation from the solutions, containing salt of Na, K and Rb at various levels of relative humidity and temperatures 25, 30 and 40°С are analysed. The received structures correlate with nematic, holesteric and smectic liquid crystal forms; some structures form fractal structure type. The volume of a formed liquid crystal phase depends on type of ions in solutions Na-DNA and determines a ratio between the area of a structure on a film and the area of all film.
